Raleigh Hand Surgeon

Raleigh Orthopaedic  is Wake County’s oldest and most experienced orthopedic practice, serving the Triangle and surrounding regions of central North Carolina since 1919. Our original founders, Dr. Hugh Thompson, Dr. Walter Hunt, and Dr. Thomas Dameron opened Wake County’s first general surgery practice with a focus in orthopaedics in 1919, and named the practice Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic in 1959.

Why Choose Dr. Stephen Chambers?

Philosophy

Dr. Stephen Chambers is up to date on the most recent surgical techniques and evidence-based treatments. When patients come to see him that is whom they will see not a physician extender. He believes patients' time is as important as the physicians and therefore our team takes pride in maintaining an up-to-date clinic schedule. If you have an injury that requires immediate treatment I will make time for you to be seen the next day.

Specialized

Orthopedics just as medicine has changed over time. One of the biggest changes in orthopedics has been sub-specialization. Dr. Stephen Chambers focuses solely on the upper extremity in order to master his practice.
